Our Company

JAD Builders is a family-owned and operated business based in Houghton County, Michigan. Owner and builder Jay Daavettila is deeply passionate about his craft. Jay received a civil engineering degree from Michigan Technological University (MTU), and after a successful engineering career, he transitioned to home building in 2024. With over 10 years of experience in building, he and his team take great pride in delivering quality work. Together, their expertise covers every aspect of your project—from brainstorming ideas and drafting plans to providing accurate quotes and delivering a high-quality finished home.
